Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly have a combined net worth of around £48 million ($60 million) - even after stepping down as senior working royals.

According to Livemint citing Forbes, this figures even stands after repaying the public money used for renovating Frogmore Cottage.

Since stepping down from royal duties at the start of 2020, the couple now reside in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

As well as settling into life in the US, the couple have also made various new friendships since their move - with some of these friendships now spanning the space of four years.

Oprah Winfrey has had a close friendship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the years, particularly since their move to the US in 2020.

As well as being a loyal friend and neighbour to Harry and Meghan, Oprah also conducted the couple's bombshell interview in March 2021.

Despite their friendship becoming stronger post-move, the couple's friendship with Oprah was ongoing long before - with Oprah attending their wedding in Windsor in 2018.

Showing her support the couple as they announced their decision to step down from royal duties in 2020, Oprah told TMZ: "I support them 1,000 percent."

According to the Forbes website, the American well-known television host has a net worth of £2.2 billion ($2.8 billion).

The friendship between James Corden and Prince Harry appears to date back to 2011. The former working royal, 39, has even filmed a few segments for the actor and presenter in recent years.

After releasing his bombshell memoir Spare, Harry thanked James for his "unwavering friendship and support" of his book.

Showing his loyalty to both Harry and Meghan, the Mirror previously reported that James admitted that it wouldn't be "fair" to wade into the constant debate surrounding them.

The newspaper also reported that his net worth stands at around £50 million, with his salary for The Late Late Show thought to have been somewhere between £4 and £7 million.

Tyler Perry famously let Harry and Meghan stay at his Los Angeles home during the summer of 2020 - shortly after they moved to the US with son Prince Archie.

The Hollywood actor - who is thought to be Princess Lilibet's godfather - has since remained friends with the couple and spoke about his friendship with them last year.

Speaking on Kelly Ripa's podcast, Sirius XM's Let's Talk Off Camera last year, he said: "...Everybody thought Oprah introduced us, but Oprah didn't even know that I reached out to them and I sent them a note through our, we had the same publicist years ago, and just said, 'If you ever need anything, I'm here,' and she called months later and just talked to me like I was a therapist you talk to and we just had a great conversation..."

According to Forbes, Tyler's net worth is said to be £1.1 billion ($1.4 billion).

The Sussexes have grown close to Ellen DeGeneres in recent years, with Meghan having first met the television personality in 2012.

The Mirror previously reported that the duch*ess, 42, and Ellen first met while visiting the same Los Angeles dog shelter.

Meghan, who by 2012 had appeared as Rachel Zane in Suits, returned from her visit to the dog shelter with her very own four-legged friend. Meghan has also made several appearances on Ellen's former talk show, which came to an end in 2022.

Referring to Harry and Meghan as her "friends", Ellen also shared earlier this year that they had adopted one of her chickens.

Ellen is said to have a net worth of £300 million ($380 million) as of January 2024, as reported by Forbes.

Although they haven't been pictured together since Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018, the pair were said to have struck up a friendship with George and Amal Clooney.

In 2018, a source told PEOPLE that Meghan and Amal had been friends, reporting: "Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests. Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one."

Speaking of Harry and George's friendship, Omid Scobie previously said: "George and Harry have a shared passion for motorcycles and checked out George’s collection and they also played basketball together."
